We just spent four amazing days diving with Max, James & Melina and it was absolutely tremendous experience we will never forget. We started our trip with amazing reef dives where we saw great reef fish, Pacific Octopus, White Tip Reef Sharks Guitar Sharks and many different types of Sting Rays and four days of diving later we concluded our trip with Open Water Dives at Gordo Banks where we saw Hammerhead Sharks, the perfect conclusion to an amazing trip.

This team is outstanding, always putting safety first, while making each dive a great experience. Led by Max, his team takes great pride in making the total experience unforgettable from the time you arrive to the time you leave.

We left East Cape Explorers feeling like part of the family and can't wait to return.

Awesome snorkel trip. Max was an amazing guide and had tons of information about the different marine life and also had great local recommendations. Captain Russo spotted some whales and was able to get us close enough to where we saw a calf breech. Truly unforgettable.

Max was the best tour guide we’ve ever had. Cappy, the boat dog, was adorable. The visibility was great, saw so many fish, then followed some whales for the second half, shout out to Captain Russo for spotting and tracking. Highly recommend East Cape Explorers!

Great dive and well experienced dive leads, James was fantastic and covered all bases clearly for “Gordo1 and Gordo2” dives. Definitely recommend this to all divers who want a blue sea dive with no reference points other than one another and the sea life!

We were so impressed with the crew and our experience today! 5 is just not enough stars. Max and Kostas are a great team of guides. They were professional and personable. Captain Alex was able to drop safely in the best spots and kept his eye on us. They were all so enjoyable to be around! We had the best day!
We felt as though the priority was always our safety and comfort. We were lucky to have some great sightings (including dropping in to a large school of hammers). They seemed to know exactly where they would be!
Shout out to Winston who brought us some smiles too ♡

We had the most incredible experience with East Cape. Max and Ruvin took the best care of us and found us many whales to see even after the season had just ended. We had the best day! We’re so thankful we chose this crew. And Capi deserves a raise for being the real MVP.

This is the singly most incredible dive crew I have ever been with (Max, James, Alex the captain). Very professional, exceptionally competent, and careful. Uniquely attuned to safety in mexico where it often feels like a total afterthought. They took videos too so we could focus on depth and drifting. Pleasant fun and engaging. Gordo banks is a hit or miss spot so best to budget a couple trips if it is possible with your itinerary and get ready to hit waves on the way out.
