PADI Divemaster Course - $1200 USD - Fast Track
The fastest way to become a dive pro
Duration:
Full Time: 12 days (10 days’ training and 2 for study and remedial work)
Part Time: 5 weekends spread over up to 8 weeks (the first 2 core weekends are fixed)
Prerequisites:
• A PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
• Emergency First Response Primary & Secondary Care
• At least 40 dives to begin and 60 for certification
• Be fit for diving and submit a Medical Statement (PDF)
• Minimum Age: 18

What you will learn:
Apart from a professionally conducted PADI Divemaster course by our in house PADI Course Director, we will introduce you to the day to day to business of a PADI Dive Center.
With our 4-6 week internship option, you’ll get a chance to practice what you learned in the course and enjoy some of the great diving here in Los Cabos.
You will be assisting real PADI training dives such as PADI Open Water, PADI Advanced or PADI Rescue courses. You will also be supervising certified divers under the supervision of our PADI Instructors.

Our Divemaster Internship course takes between 4 – 6 weeks. During the course you will be introduced to all areas of a professional PADI Dive Center. East Cape Explorers conducts Divemaster Internships all year round and starting dates are flexible. With our 4 – 6 week option, you’ll get more chance to practice what you learned on the course and more chance to enjoy some of the great diving here in Los Cabos. Learn how to apply your training in real world situations!

You will be assisting real PADI training dives such as Open Water, Advanced or Rescue courses. You will also supervise certified divers together with our PADI Instructors.
Free PADI Divemaster Workshops
- Dive Center Operation Workshop: You will be assisting our dive shop manager in scheduling certified divers, Discover Scuba Dives and PADI Courses
2. Dive Equipment Maintenance Workshop: Together with our certified dive equipment specialist you will learn to service regulators, bcd’s and tanks
3: Compressor Handling Workshop: You will learn how to fill air and nitrox tanks and conduct basic maintenance on high pressure breathing air compressors.
4. Hammerhead Shark Conservation Workshop:
East Cape Explorers has conducted more dives with Hammerhead sharks in Los Cabos than any other dive shop. We will share our knowledge and love for these animals with you a specialized workshop
5. Dive Boat Workshop:
East Cape Explorers owns 2 custom made dive shops. You will be learning safety procedures during dive tours and basic boat maintenance.
