- Up to 3 hours on the water with gray whales
- Friendly, interactive whale behavior often seen
- Includes transportation, lunch, photos, and videos
The day starts early with a 6:00 AM pickup from your hotel in San José del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas. Sit back and enjoy the scenic drive through Baja’s desert landscape as we head north to Puerto Chale. By mid-morning, you’ll arrive at this peaceful fishing village, where your ‘panga’ boat and local captain await. For the next three hours, you’ll explore the calm waters of Magdalena Bay, home to hundreds of migrating gray whales. Unlike other whale species, gray whales here are famously curious—often approaching boats and lingering nearby. After your time on the water, we’ll enjoy a fresh lunch in the village before heading back south, arriving back in Los Cabos around sunset. Photos and videos taken throughout the day by your guide are included, so you’ll take home incredible memories and images of your experience.
