If he is not diving, you will still find him at the beach or in the water. Max likes to surf and every other sport he can get involved in. One would say, he has fully emersed himself to live the beach life.

Our Boats & Facilities

Tassie Tiger

Our primary dive boat is a  33 foot Panga. The “Tassie Tiger” is powered by 2 outboard engines allowing for fast, comfortable trips to the dive sites, Once on site, our top of the range Garmin “fish finder”, ensures we drop to the right co-ordinates and get the most out of each dive.

She boasts ample seating space with a marine toilet onboard, for your comfort. Our vessel is registered for 16 passengers and is large enough take 12 divers + crew. However we limit each trip to 10 divers + crew to optimize space and comfort.

Furthermore, we ensure plenty of shade via the canopy, a spacious deck makes walking up and down the boat easy and a wide ladder allows for easy entry and exit, regardless of ability.

Super Salty

Our primary Whale Watching and Snorkel Tour vessel is a 26ft custom, hand built Panga. The “Super Salty” provides you with all amenities to enjoy the ultimate ocean experience. She is extremely spacious and comfortable, boasting cushioned seating and an optional table, making her ideal for cruising along side whales and into our beautiful snorkeling sites.

We also have the option of accommodating smaller, private dive charters. Licensed for 10 passenger + crew and powered by a brand new 140 HP outboard engine, she is by no means a slouch but comfort is preferred to speed.

Our Dive Shop

The region known as Los Cabos encompasses the area of Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo and the East Cape. We are located just off the marina “Puerto Los Cabos” in the small fishing town of La Playita, only a short drive away from most hotels in San Jose Del Cabo.Furthermore, we are an entirely independent and self-sufficient business. Consequently we have our own boat, compressors, top of the line diving and snorkel equipment for adults and children alike. Similarly, here at East cape Explorers, we can offer off road parking, secure lockers for your personal items and a lovely warm shower for post dive revival! Therefore, we can provide you with the exceptional customer service we are famous for.

If you find that your hotel is closer to Cabo San Lucas, we have a sister dive shop named Dive Cabo, located behind Hotel Tesoro, right on the marina in Cabo San Lucas. If you are interested in numerous days of diving, we can easily split our packages between either location.

Our Training Facility

image

East Cape Explorers also has the benefit of Dive Cabo´s purpose built training facility for all levels of scuba diving courses, from Open Water, all the way to Instructor Development. The ‘Klubhaus’ offers a deep water training pool, kitchen, air conditioned classroom and bbq area.

We built our 4 meter deep pool specifically with diving in mind. Jump into the 1.2 meter shallow area for your first breath underwater, before dropping down to the deep end to master hovering skills, safety skills and more, in a safe, calm and stress free environment before heading out to the ocean.

The “Klubhaus” also has 5 fully furnished rooms for our IDC candidates and internship students. We outfitted each room with a small kitchenette, 2 individual beds, a restroom and cozy sofa.
