PADI Divemaster Internship Course
The Dive Cabo / East Cape Explorers PADI Divemaster course with Internship, is the ideal way to get a full dive shop experience while obtaining the envious certification of PADI Divemaster. With the PADI Divemaster certificate in hand, you will be able to live the life many dream of while working your passion to be a dive leader.
The PADI Divemaster is the entry level for the Pro ranks. coupled with our complete dive shop operation and the regions only dedicated Pro training facility “Klubhaus”, you will be armed to work anywhere in the world.
The Internship will take you further into the operation of a busy dive shop. you will get the added education and experience over a 4 week period, learning about shop operations, compressor use, equipment components, general boat maintenance, and learn more about the Hammerhead Shark population out of Gordo Banks.
The Dive Cabo / East Cape Explorers – Internship – is a 4 week program designed to immerse yourself into the daily operation of a busy dive centre.
You will start at home, completing the PADI Divemaster eLearning prior to arrival. Then head to the classroom on the first day to meet and greet, followed by a pool session to development your presentation qualities of the PADI 24 skill circuit.
From there on, your adventure starts! you will learn all the fundamentals of the PADI Divemaster course and learn valuble insights from our highly experienced crew.
You will see first hand how to handle daily operations, from the beginners, the seasoned certified diver, all while working on your own confidence and ability, to become a highly valuble PADI Pro.
You will be assisting real PADI training dives such as PADI Open Water, PADI Advanced or PADI Rescue courses. You will also be supervising certified divers under the supervision of our PADI Instructors.
The Dive Cabo / East Cape Explorers – Internship – is available year round. As a Pro diver you are expected to have your own equipment, conditions change all year, from cool 16c in March to May, to 27c+ in Sept to Nov.
The Internship will have between 30 to 40 dives over the 4 weeks period.
The general schedule changes according to the booking of student and certified divers.

To enter you will need –
- PADI Rescue diver, or equivalent.
- At least 40 logged dives to enter, 60 logged dives for certification
- 12 days (can be split)
- current First Aid / CPR certificate (available prior if needed)
- highly desired to have your own equipment

Dive Cabo has the regions only dedicated scuba training centre “klubhaus”. Cheap accommodation for the PADI Divemaster course can be rented (when available) for the 4 week timeframe. Each room has a full kitchen and bathroom set up.
We also have dive packages for those that require dives for course minimums.
Highly recommended to have your own equipment, but pieces can be rented for course duration.
