Click here, to pay your depositOnce you reserve a space, that space is yours and cannot be sold to anyone else. Therefore, if you cancel without sufficient notice, we do not have the opportunity to fill that space. This cancellation policy is designed to cover part of the lost revenue.
– For all local diving, snorkeling, and whale watching trips, including Gordo Banks, we offer a 95% refund for cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the trip, a 5% retainer fee covers credit card and bank processing fees. No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellations made within 72 hours of the trip.
– Dives canceled by East Cape Explorers due to weather and/or port closures will allow the client the option to reschedule the dive (based on availability) or to receive a 100% refund of the deposit.
– For all PADI courses, a non-refundable deposit of $250 USD is required. Upon receipt of the deposit, a PADI eLearning code will be sent to you. The eLearning materials are yours to keep. Please consult with your physician to ensure you are fit for scuba diving before purchasing the eLearning code.
– For all full-day excursions to Cabo Pulmo, La Paz, La Ventana, and Puerto Chale, a $75 USD deposit is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due at least three days prior to the trip. If we need to cancel your reservation due to bad weather or not meeting the minimum number of participants, we will refund 100% of your payments. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than three days before the trip.
– East Cape Explorers has a zero tolerance policy for “drinking and diving.” Everything in moderation is acceptable; however, anyone showing up for the dive hung-over or smelling of alcohol will not be allowed on the boat and will not be issued a refund.
