If you’ve already taken a specialty diver course, ask your instructor if you’ve earned credit for an Adventure Dive of the PADI Advanced Course.
2 of the 5 specialties are mandatory – Deep dive and Navigation dive. The other 3 dives are chosen by you. There are several to choose from: Fish Identification, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Drift Dive, Wreck Dive, Search and Recovery, Underwater Naturalist and even a  Night Dive (at extra cost)! Each dive will teach a different aspect of diving to make you more well rounded underwater. The course is conducted over 2 days to give you time to rest and absorb what you have learnt.

Rescue Diver Course Description:

The course is usually completed over 2 days. First day involves meeting your dive instructor who will give you the basic outline of each exercise and scenario that will be acted out and practiced over each day. Next down to the dive boat where you’ll meet one of our skilled captains that will give you the boat briefing, alerting you to where all of the emergency equipment is kept.

Once familiar with the vessel, we head to 2 different dive sites where the 10+ exercises will be conducted – some on the boat, some in the water. By the end of the course you will be proficient in rescue breathing, out of air situations, assisted exits etc. This is the highest scuba certification without turning professional.

Please note that EFR (or equivalent), is required for certification of Rescue Diver. Read below for more information.
