Referral Course Description:

This course is for those that have already completed the theory and pool training part of the Open Water Diver Course with your local dive shop, you will receive a referral form or dive logbook with your instructor’s signature.

This is all we need to assist you with the completion of your open water check out dives here in “Los Cabos”.

You will be diving in the beautiful waters of the “Sea of Cortez” and our experienced dive instructors make sure you complete your first ocean dives in a relaxed and comfortable environment.

We also accept “referrals” from other dive organizations through the “universal referral program”.

Open Water Course Description:

It takes only 3 days to get scuba certified. To enroll in a PADI Open Water Course or Junior Open Water Diver course, you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank. Once you are familiar with the equipment, one of our instructors will show you various underwater communication skills, breathing techniques, buoyancy control and standard dive procedures in our custom dive pool. This usually takes up a full afternoon, 1pm to 5pm. Day 2 and 3 are in the ocean, these are called Open Water dives. There, you will further develop your skills and gain confidence under the water. By the end of the course, you will be certified to scuba dive to a maximum depth of 18m/60ft anywhere in the world.
